A little secret I’ve been keeping… 🤫
Ever since opening STHLM Knit Company, I’ve dreamed of stocking Noro Yarns from Japan — and now it’s finally happening!
My first delivery is hopefully soon on its way to me – and to you. 🧶
First up is , an incredibly soft, chunky wool from a family farm in New Zealand. It comes in six beautiful undyed shades, and I’m already so keen to cast on a sample for you.
And this is just the beginning… there’s more Noro to come. 🤎

Back from summer vacation the shop needs a little love and care. So this week we have slightly different opening hours before we return to our regular opening hours from week 34. But of course you have plenty of time to fetch all things yarn and knitting even this week! See you soon 🩷

Another brand new jewel in our book shelf is "Foundations: 20 Knitted Accesssories" by the eminent Sari Nordlund. The patterns in this book are inspired by architecture and - as always with Sari's work - so enjoyable to make.

After some months mainly knitting summer clothes and sweaters, I got the sudden urge to cast on something small, perhaps a scarf or a cool balaclava?

A long weekend is here, bad weather on top of that = lots of time to knit.
I was planning to continue/finish some of my current projects. But a little voice in my head whispers: This navy blue sweater has been on your list forever. Knit it! Knit it!!! So, there might be a chance that I cast on something new. Do you think that’s very bad of me? 😅

En lång helg är här, och dåligt väder på det – extra mycket tid att sticka alltså!
Tänkte egentligen fortsätta/avsluta några av mina pågående projekt. Men en liten röst i huvudet viskar: ”Den där mörkblå tröjan har ju legat på din lista i evigheter. Sticka den! STICKA DEN!!!”
Så… det finns en risk att jag startar något nytt. Tycker ni att det är väldigt dåligt av mig? 😅
