The Raven was coming along nicely- and then I realized I did not at all like the positioning of the upper body😆So I used my favorite mechanical tool and cut it in half..! And the result was so much more satisfying! The next step is to hand sculpt all the feathers and down:)

Hey guys! I’ve taken a leap and actually put some color in my art!

Creating a candle holder that not only houses tea candles- and the flame within us all- but also depicts the harboring of emotions.

The back is pretty messy, with loads of heavy and dark emotions hitting us relentlessly while as we move on forward in life- the beautiful as well as the difficult memories integrate and (should) be carried with pride.

We are who we are because of what we’ve been through❤️

Let’s try and not dwell on the past but rest in that darkness is needed in order to appreciate the light.

On Monday I had major surgery done on my back. Something I’ve waited for two long and excruciating years. Today I had to change the dressings and of course a new piece of art was born..! What do you see in this picture? I see a figure walking through the woods on a moon lit night❤️

I’ve been absent for a while due to my back giving up entirely on me. Awaiting surgery and have not been able to even sit up long enough to sculpt in clay lately.

Luckily I found some amazing wool that I ordered from Wingham Wool in England a long time ago. Decided to try and sculpt in it since I can both lay down and it doesn’t get quite as messy as clay😅

And we’ll here’s the start of my first character. What color should her hair be you think? I’m leaning towards gray and to make the blue wool into a beret (very artsy I know;)
