For this bedroom the owners wanted something warm and cosy, not the usual grey or beige.

We suggested this terracotta shade after seeing their headboard and lighting. It ties in with the warm tones they already had, so the colour feels like it belongs rather than fighting the room. Paired with a white day sheer, they still get privacy in the day without making the room dark.

Terracotta is one of those colours people are scared to pick, but done right it makes the room. Glad they trusted us on this one.

West-facing living room with strong afternoon sun. The owners wanted to keep the space bright, but a normal day curtain felt too exposed once the lights come on at night.

So we recommended a hybrid curtain. It sits in between a day and night curtain. Denser weave than a sheer, so you get proper privacy in the evening, but it still lets soft daylight through during the day and cuts the glare.

The track is concealed in the ceiling pelmet, with space for a night curtain to be layered on later if they ever want full blackout. For now, one layer covers most of the day.

Oat linen texture to match the sofa and carpentry, so the whole room stays in one palette.
