From bare plywood to a hotel-style headboard, in one EC bedroom. ๐Ÿ›Œ

The homeowner wanted a boutique hotel-style headboard without losing walking space, so we built an arch into the wall and filled it with fluted panels, with LED strip lighting running along its edge. The bedside tables float off the wall, which leaves the floor clear for easy sweeping and mopping.

Sage curtains with a cove light above soften the whole room, and the grey wardrobe doors stay quiet so the arch gets the attention.

We installed full-height, black-framed sliding glass panels to keep the smoke and heavy heat in the kitchen, while the warm under-cabinet lighting keeps the space feeling open.

The kitchen peninsula faces the dining nook for easy serving, and the matte stone-grey cabinets keep every appliance out of sight.
