Or a bedside lamp. 🛏️

And that’s intentional.

We removed both to make the room feel bigger.

Instead, the stone ledge behind the bed became the bedside table.

The pendant replaced the lamp.

Hidden lighting behind the headboard creates a soft glow without shining directly into your eyes. ✨

Same function.

Less clutter.

We removed ours instead. ✨

Best decision ever.

When space is tight, a dining table takes up valuable floor space.

So we extended the countertop and added two stools instead. 🍷

Same function.

They thought we were crazy.

The space feels brighter, cleaner, and more premium than before.
The secret wasn’t the colour.

It was the lighting.
Hidden strip lights.
Glowing floating carpentry.
Bright stone surfaces reflecting daylight.

So we did the opposite. 🖤

Charcoal cabinetry.
Floor-to-ceiling.
Handleless.

Then we warmed it up with walnut finishes and hidden lighting that turns the counter gold after sunset.

And that glass folding door?

It hides the entire service yard.

Laundry.
Drying racks.
Storage.

Gone.

Just clean lines and a skyline view.

That “feature wall” is actually a hidden doorway.

No handle.

No visible entrance.

Just a full-sized passage disguised inside a fluted wood feature wall.
