September, you were a little bit of everything. 🤍

New workshops, new ideas, school collaborations, crochet, macramé, resin, behind-the-scenes chaos… and lots of learning along the way.

There were exciting wins, a few challenging days, and plenty of moments where I wondered how I was going to fit everything into one month. 😅

But looking back, I’m reminded that this is exactly why I started Two Hobbies — to create, to teach, and to bring people together through creativity.

And honestly, the best part is still watching someone say,
“I made this myself!”

So, September, thank you for the lessons, the people, the opportunities and all the little wins.

✨ DIY Festive Décor | Upcycling Waste Wood ✨

Who says beautiful festive décor has to be expensive? ❤️

I turned a waste piece of wood from a friend’s home renovation into this beautiful festive tealight holder 🪔

With a little paint, some simple mandala-inspired detailing and a few tealights, an otherwise discarded piece of wood found a whole new purpose. ♻️

It’s easy, beautiful and perfect for adding a handmade touch to your festive décor.

And honestly, I love DIYs like this—when creativity meets sustainability! 💛

A month that was more about family than work… about being present for the little moments, holding on a little tighter, and navigating some really hard goodbyes.

There were mixed emotions — the kind that make your heart heavy and full at the same time.
Tears, laughter, long conversations, new beginnings… and moments that made me incredibly proud.

August reminded me that not every month needs to be about creating, achieving or ticking things off the list. Sometimes, life simply asks you to pause, be there for your people, and make memories.

A slow month, a full heart, a few difficult goodbyes, and some very proud moments. ✨

Here’s to September — slowly finding my way back to creating, dreaming and doing.

From chaos in my head… to calm in my hands.

Sometimes, you don’t need to escape the noise—you just need something that brings you back to yourself.

For me, it’s crochet.
One stitch at a time. One breath at a time. 🤍

The moment the hook moves, the chaos fades… and suddenly, there’s only the rhythm of the yarn, the repetition of the stitches, and a little more peace in my mind.

Crochet isn’t just about creating something beautiful.
It’s about creating a quiet space within yourself. 🌿
