We layered rich timber textures, deep-toned cabinetry, open display shelves and warmer lighting to give the space a more collected, lived-in character.

We also made the planning work harder behind the scenes, from integrated appliances and practical kitchen zones to customised, well-ventilated spaces designed specially for the cats' home.

A brighter home isn’t always about using more white. Sometimes it comes down to how the space is planned.

For this project, we opened up the kitchen and kept the palette soft and warm, using light finishes with natural wood to make the home feel more spacious and easy on the eyes. The long island anchors the kitchen while giving the family extra prep space, storage and a casual spot to sit.

Beyond the kitchen, we carried the same thinking into the rest of the home with custom-built storage, a glass partition that lets light travel through, and carpentry designed around how the homeowners actually live.

Simple at first glance, but considered in all the places that matter.

Does your home have a unique layout? Sometimes, it’s not about “fixing” it, but about making it feel intentional.

For this kitchen, we worked with the existing structure and used warm wood tones, clean lines and continuous cabinetry to create a more seamless flow. Even the service yard was tucked behind a concealed door, so the whole space reads as one cohesive design rather than a collection of separate zones.
