Located in a new condominium in Fernvale, this bare unit was thoughtfully transformed into a warm, functional home for a young couple and their dog.
From the very beginning, the brief was clear: create a timeless, modern space wrapped in earthy tones — one that feels welcoming, comfortable, and never squeezy. To preserve the property’s long-term value, we focused on enhancing the existing layout rather than making major structural changes that required extensive hacking works.
The living room became the heart of the home, designed to embrace the greenery view from the balcony and draw natural light deep into the space. All built-in carpentry was carefully consolidated to one side of the wall, allowing the rest of the area to remain open and visually expansive. This approach keeps the home feeling airy and spacious, while still providing practical storage for everyday living.
In the kitchen, we refreshed the backsplash with classic white tic tac tiles, instantly giving the space a clean, modern character that complements the earthy palette. The bedroom features a textured paint accent wall, adding depth and subtle warmth without overwhelming the room.
The final result is a home that feels open yet intimate, modern yet enduring — a thoughtfully curated sanctuary where the couple (and their furry companion) can unwind, host loved ones, and grow comfortably over time.
