For this Hui HotPot project in Singapore,
we deliberately avoided the typical trendy restaurant look.

Instead,
we focused on creating something more authentic —
the atmosphere and energy of a real Chongqing hot pot experience.

1️⃣ Street-style design isn't about looking brand new

✅ Textured exposed walls that preserve the raw character of the space
✅ Bold red lightbox signage that instantly reinforces the Chongqing hot pot identity
✅ Wooden tables paired with warm lighting to create a familiar and welcoming atmosphere

2️⃣ Open spaces create a stronger dining experience

🍲 Open kitchen concept

Instead of hiding the kitchen,
we made it part of the dining experience.

🌶 Self-service sauce station

Guests become part of the experience,
creating more interaction and engagement.

In many restaurant spaces,
participation matters more than presentation.

3️⃣ Atmosphere drives repeat customers

Red lightboxes, paper lanterns, and warm lighting
aren't complicated design elements on their own.

But when combined together,
they create the unmistakable atmosphere of a Chongqing hot pot restaurant.

When people think of Chinese-style interiors, the first impression is usually:
heavy, traditional, and hard to pull off

But truly timeless modern Chinese interiors aren’t about filling the space with decorative elements.

It’s actually about the balance of negative space, material proportions, and the overall atmosphere.

For this project, we didn’t do overly complicated renovations.
Instead, we focused more on the details - materials, lighting, and the proportions of the furniture and styling pieces.

Because a truly comfortable home
has never been about adding more elements to feel luxurious.

It’s about creating a space where,
once you sit down, you naturally want to slow down and enjoy life 🍵

Completed a 90sqft new home renovation for a Singapore homeowner 😍

The key was not adding too many design features,
but making the space practical, warm and easy to live in.

What we focused on:

This home doesn’t use overly complicated design elements,
but once you move in, you’ll notice:
the lighting, storage, layout flow, and overall atmosphere
all feel just right.

Warm wood flooring paired with low-saturation cabinetry
makes the entire space feel clean, calm, and comfortable.

The TV wall features full hidden storage,
while the piano area blends naturally into the living room —
practical, yet full of everyday warmth.

The bathroom also features wet and dry separation,
with built-in niche storage and black hardware details
that instantly elevate the overall look.

When decorating a small apartment,
a lot of people focus too much on making it look “luxurious.”

But after moving in, you’ll realize the most important thing about a home
is whether it can truly help you relax.

Especially after work —
the moment you turn on the lights and walk through the door,
the atmosphere of the space really affects your mood.

This project was fully designed and renovated by Three Concepts✨

If you want a cream-style home for a small space, here are a few key things to note:

NO.1 Keep the entire home in a unified low-saturation cream palette
Walls, cabinets, and curtains should stay within similar tones.
The space will instantly feel cleaner, softer, and more timeless.

NO.2 Leave large blank spaces in the living room
Instead of over-decorating, we kept the layout minimal.
This makes the natural light and cozy atmosphere stand out even more.
When sunlight comes in during the day, the whole home feels soft and calming.

NO.3 Keep the bay window area
It’s way more practical than most people expect.

NO.4 The piano area wasn’t separated off
Instead, it blends naturally into the living room and makes the whole home feel more lived-in and warm.

NO.5 Warm lighting + soft furnishings in the bedroom
At night, it honestly feels like sinking into cotton. Especially on rainy days, the sense of comfort becomes even stronger ☁️

🇸🇬 Swipe left once, and watch the whole home come together.

A lot of people think black, white, and grey interiors are easy to mess up.
But the hardest part of this style was never about looking “luxurious.
It’s about making the space feel clean, minimal, and still comfortable to live in.

This home didn’t use overly complicated designs,
and the overall budget was kept pretty reasonable,
but the final atmosphere turned out incredibly good.

1️⃣ Black, white, and grey were used as the main color palette
The whole space feels more cohesive, visually cleaner, and timeless.

2️⃣ No excessive decorative elements
Cabinets, lines, and lighting were all kept minimal,
which actually made the space feel more premium.

3️⃣ Rock slab finishes + hidden lighting were added in selected areas
Without overly complex renovations, the layering already feels rich enough.

4️⃣ Soft furnishing colors were carefully controlled
Brown accent chair, grey flooring, black cabinetry —
the entire space feels calm and balanced.
