Every room tells a bit of its own story, but somehow it all still feels like one cohesive home.

It's easy to forget every beautiful corner of a home started out looking exactly like this, stripped down and full of potential.

Instead of squeezing everything into one cramped room, this kitchen toilet was split into two zones, a separate sink area just outside the actual toilet.

The vessel basin sink, oval mirror, and walnut vanity give the wash area a small resort touch, while black matte fittings tie it back to the rest of the house.

Inside, microcement flooring and walls run seamlessly from floor to ceiling, giving the space a clean, almost spa like finish without the usual grout lines of tiles.

Even in a space this small, the Bali inspired warmth still comes through, proof that theme doesn't need square footage to shine.

This corner of the kitchen shows the full arch feature, a built in niche that houses the coffee bar setup and open shelving above it.

Extra storage was worked into the tall wood cabinetry beside it, with a dedicated slot for the microwave and other kitchen appliances kept off the counter.

The stainless steel island adds a practical prep surface, a nice contrast against all the warm wood tones surrounding it.

This kitchen runs on the same walnut tones as the rest of the house, floor to ceiling cabinetry giving ample storage without feeling boxed in.

Matte black fittings, from the tap to the pot filler above the hob, add a bit of contrast against the warm wood and microcement flooring that continues seamlessly from the living area.

A sliding door with arched glass panels separates the kitchen from the living space, letting light filter through while still keeping cooking smells contained.

Every door in this home swings open on both sides, a bespoke carpentry detail carried consistently from room to room instead of being a one-off feature.

The walnut veneer finish and slender panel detailing were chosen to echo the cabinetry found throughout the house, so each doorway feels like part of one cohesive look.

This is the kind of craftsmanship you don't clock at first glance, until you realise every single door in the house was done up this way, on purpose.

Small details like these are what take a renovation from ordinary to well thought out.
