Honoured and humbled to be re-elected as a Council Member of the Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS) for the 2026–2028 term.
Two years ago, my peers gave me an opportunity to serve. Today, they've given me the privilege to continue. That is not something I take for granted.
Fifteen years of running The Design Practice has taught me that design is never just about spaces — it's about people. The families who trust us with their homes. The businesses who trust us with their vision. That same conviction is what drives me to serve this community beyond the walls of my studio.
There is still work to do. On standards that protect our members. On elevating the true value of interior design in Singapore. On building an industry that the next generation of designers can enter with confidence and pride.
To my clients, my team, and my fellow designers who have walked this journey with me — thank you. Your support, your trust, and your belief in what we do together is what keeps me going.
To our outgoing leadership — thank you for your dedication, your sacrifice, and the strong foundation you have laid for all of us.
And to the new President, office bearers, and incoming council — I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work alongside each of you.
The best chapter of Singapore design is still ahead. And I am committed to helping write it.
