This has been one of the marquee projects of the Weaving Happiness Volunteers recently.

Each stitch of the blanket gifted to Breast Cancer Foundation BCF for their Breast Cancer Warriors carries wishes 🙏, love❤️, and care🫶🏻 from our Volunteers. Some blankets are a collective effort of a few volunteers, while others are full lap blankets lovingly pledged and provided by individual volunteers.

Dear Ones, you know who you are. At , your time, effort, and emotions poured into this initiative are invaluable, deeply acknowledged, and cherished.

Let’s continue to make the world a more loved and cared for place, especially when, at times, it may seem otherwise. ❤️

🧶Crochet Club at UWCSEA — Session #0️⃣4️⃣! 🧶

From little chains… to beautiful FRAMES! 🖼️🧶💕
Our little makers are really getting the hang of this‼️🥰
Those chain stitches they were practising in our earlier sessions have now been transformed into their very own crochet frames 🖼️ and watching them see their stitches turn into something real has been SO satisfying‼️🫶🏻
Most of them have also completed their coasters..one little project at a time…they are building confidence, getting neater with their stitches, and becoming more independent with their hooks. 💪🏼🥰

And now… we have moved on to something a little more playful! 👀🐙💕

Say hello to their next crochet adventure… OCTOPUSES 🐙 🐙🧶😂😂
There’s been plenty of counting, looping, undoing, trying again, helping each other, and of course… lots and LOTS of chatter‼️🤭💬🫶🏻

What started as simple chains and basic stitches is slowly turning into little creations they can proudly call their own. 🫶🏻

So proud of this bunch and their progress‼️💕
Keep hooking, little makers… there’s a whole ocean of crochet fun ahead‼️🐙🌊🧶🐳🪼🐬

And just like that… we finished the flowers…🌸🌼🌸🌼
If you’ve been following our updates , you will know that these little blooms have been quietly taking over our tables, our conversations and quite a few happy hours‼️😃
Today was the final flower making Sunday before we turn the page and begin something completely new next week. 🧶 🫶🏻🙌🏼

Most of the hands🙌🏼 were busy with our tiny crochet flowers, turning them into little pops of happiness for our visiting cards. And today, we got to see the finished cards come together .,each one carrying a little piece of the love ❤️ and effort that went into making it. 💝
But honestly… the best part wasn’t just what we made.

IT WAS US ‼️🫶🏻🙌🏼🫶🏻🙌🏼🫶🏻🙌🏼

The smiles…😊The laughter..😆
The teasing..😈 The silly moments..☺️The conversations that somehow happen in between every stitch. 😄

And of course a few proud smiles while holding up those visiting cards we helped create ‼️

These Sundays have a funny way of reminding us that sometimes the smallest things ..a little flower, a shared laugh, a few hours together can create the biggest sense of joy.

And now… the flowers are done. 🌼🌸

A new project awaits us next Sunday.
New things to learn.New things to make. And hopefully many more reasons to laugh together.

Because the project may change…

but the hands 🙌🏼 , hearts 💕 ♥️ and happy faces stay. 🫶🏻😊☺️🥰

🙌🏼 Create with your Hands
❤️ Connect through your Heart
🧠 Grow through your Head

A new season begins… and the crochet hooks are ready ‼️🧶🏫❤️

Yesterday, officially kicked off a brand-new season of at Dulwich International College and there’s something so special about coming back year after year and watching this little crochet journey grow. 🧶 🫶🏻
From our very first season to now, we have woven four successful seasons together… and yesterday we began Season 1 for new academic year with the same excitement, fresh energy, and lots of yarn‼️🧶✨

Every new season starts with the same little ritual: thoughtfully prepared crochet kits🧶👜, tools ready to go ✂️🪡, personalised name tags🏷️♥️, and everything our young makers need to begin their creative journey. 🙌🏼

We may not be able to share their faces, but we can share the little details that make the magic happen ..the school 🏫, the kits, the colours, the yarn, and of course… the first stitches of a brand-new adventure. ✨

Here’s to another season of learning, creating, making, and weaving happiness ..one stitch at a time ❣️🧶💕

Stitches, Smiles & Little Joys 🌼🧶

Today was one of those Sundays where the making was special but the moments in between were even more so. 🫶🏻
Three of our wonderful volunteers completed their blankets and lovingly handed them over to us. 🧶
❤️ Each one carries hours of patience, love and countless little stitches and we can’t wait for them to become part of someone’s story.

The rest of the hands were busy making tiny flowers for our visiting cards, one little bloom at a time. 🌼🌸
We were also touched by Ravinder ji, who generously donated some yarn for our work. These quiet acts of kindness keep our circle growing. 🫶🏻❤️🤗🙏
And of course there was plenty happening between the stitches ..jokes, laughter, teasing, conversations and lots of happy smiles. 😄🫶🏻
Because Soulful Sundays are not just about what we make.
They are about who we become while making it …together. 🙌🏼❤️

Create with your Hands 🙌🏼
Connect through your Heart ❤️
Grow through your Head 🧠

🧶✨ Crochet Club — Session #0️⃣3️⃣! ✨🧶

Fast learners. Big energy. Lots of yarn… and even more chatter‼️😄🧶💬

Today’s Crochet Club session was such a joy❣️🌈✨
This batch is an absolute delight ..they are picking up new stitches so quickly, getting more confident with their hooks & already becoming little crochet pros ❣️🥰🧶

And yes… they are CHAT-TY‼️🤭😂💬
There’s always a conversation happening, a question being asked, someone helping a friend, and plenty of laughter in between stitches. 🫶🏻
What makes the class extra special is that they are not just learning crochet …they are learning together‼️
Watching them figure things out, help each other, experiment with their stitches and proudly show off their progress is the best part of every session. ✨🫶🏻🫶🏻

A fun class, a lovely bunch, and lots of little stitches turning into something bigger… one loop at a time. 🧶🌟

Keep hooking, little makers‼️🫶🏻✨

🌼🌸 A House Full of Flowers🌸🌼

Yesterday’s crochet session was quite literally full house
23–24 pairs of hands 🙌🏼 , all busy making tiny flowers for our visiting cards🫶🏻🧶🌼💕

One by one, stitch by stitch, the flowers came to life with lots of laughter, conversation, and the beautiful rhythm of many hands creating together. 🥰❤️
From a simple ball of yarn to little blooms filled with love… every flower carries a little piece of the hands that made it. 🌸🫶🏻🫶🏻🤗

A wonderful day of creativity, connection, and togetherness. 🫶🏻

Together, we continue to weave happiness,
One Stitch at a Time. 🧶❤️
