Socks are better in pairs, and so is knitting. This Socktober, come find your sole mates with us! Pick a sock yarn you love, cast on any time in October and tag , and we will cheer you on in our Stories. We are also hosting a couple of Zoom meet-ups along the way, so we can show off our progress, swap tips and keep each other going.

Never knitted a sock before? Fret not. Socks to Call Your Own, our new 5-week workshop, begins Sunday 18 October at 3pm, with syabs guiding you one Sunday at a time. Book at workshops.yarninghearts.com :)

Psst, nylon is the only functional plastic you will find on our shelves, and it is there for a good reason. Wool on its own wears thin at the heels and toes, so a little nylon reinforces it and helps your handknit socks go the distance.
