🍱 Restaurant Project Spotlight: Japanese Restaurant @ Mohammed Sultan Road
When this Japanese restaurant was preparing for their grand opening, they knew lighting would be key to creating the right experience. It wasn’t just about illuminating the space, it was about making the food look as irresistible as it tasted and providing a dining atmosphere that invited guests to savour every moment.
Instead of relying on traditional track lighting, we worked with ambient surface mounts and downlights, strategically positioned to create a soft, elegant glow. This approach produced the perfect wall-washer effect, highlighting the food and the restaurant's design while adding depth and warmth to the space.
The real magic, however, was in our light's Color Rendering Index (CRI) which was >90. This ensured that every dish was bathed in light that revealed its true, vibrant colours, making the reds, greens, and browns pop in all the right ways.
The result? Not only did the food look beautiful in person, but it also became a dream for food photography. Guests could snap photos of their meal, confident that the lighting would capture the true essence of their dish, with no colour distortion.
It’s not just lighting, it’s about creating an atmosphere where every detail, down to the finest texture, is perfectly accentuated.
