The CJ Hendry Flower Market sparked plenty of discussion online.

Some left disappointed.
Some loved it.
Some couldn’t understand why anyone would queue for a faux flower.

As a florist, I walked away with a different perspective.

The flowers weren’t really the point.

The experience was.

Art has a way of bringing people together — sometimes beautifully, sometimes chaotically, but always in conversation.

I’m grateful Singapore got the opportunity to host an installation like this, and I hope we see more experiences that make art accessible to everyone.

As florists, we often see flowers exchanged between spouses, parents and children.

But every now and then, we witness something different.

A Godma and Godpa who remembered.

Who wanted their goddaughter to know that even after the wedding celebrations were over and the first year of marriage had passed, she was still deeply loved and cherished.

By the grace of God and a little teamwork, we managed to prepare and deliver this arrangement before the afternoon was over.

What stayed with me wasn’t the rush.

It was the reminder that love isn’t measured by how often we speak, but by the moments we choose to remember.

Sometimes it’s planning ahead before a work trip.

Sometimes it’s making sure your daughter receives a surprise on her 18th birthday even when you can’t be there yourself.

We recently prepared this anniversary bouquet for our customer R to celebrate his 21st wedding anniversary with his wife.
21 stalks of flowers — red roses, carnations and a bright sunflower — thoughtfully chosen to represent a love that has grown through seasons, memories and everyday moments together.

Mother’s Day has just passed… and as we slowly catch our breath in the shop, our hearts are honestly very full. 🌸

To every husband sending flowers to his wife, every child surprising their mum or grandma, every friend celebrating another friend’s motherhood journey… thank you for trusting us to be a small part of your story this year.

Behind every bouquet was a little moment of love.
A reminder.

This one came as an email… all the way from the US.

M shared that she had once carried a surrogate baby for a family here in Singapore — a beautiful, selfless chapter of her life.
And now, that little one is turning 10.

Ten years… and yet, her heart still remembers.
