‘Ko si odgovoren za življenja vsakič, ko poletiš, si odletel že na tisoče ur, preživel grozne nevihte ...( tiste na nebu in tiste v sebi ), ti začnejo male stvari pomeniti res veliko. "

To nam je povedal pilot ko je naročil naše ogledalo, saj je končno prišel njegov čas za 4. rumeno črto.👨🏻‍✈️

“Ko sem dal letalsko ogledalo na steno, se mi ni šlo za to, da se gledam kako sem ‘poštirkan’ preden grem letet.’

Zadnje tedne je utrujen vstajal ob 4:30 zjutraj in od dela in izzivov se mu je kar vrtelo.

Rekel je, da se je vsakič, ko se je pogledal v letalsko ogledalo spomnil, da obleka, ki jo zjutraj obleče, ni uniforma, ampak:

👉🏼 obljuba sebi,
👉🏼vložen trud,
👉🏼osebna zmaga,
👉🏼odgovornost.

Zaupal nam je, da se za letalsko ogledalo najprej ni odločil zato, ker je mislil, da bo preveliko za njegovo steno…

in da si je premislil ko ga je prišinilo da: “Ni nič majhnega v tem, kar delam.”

Danes ga ogledalo pozdravlja vsako jutro pred briefingi in cheklistami. Spomni ga na to, kdo je postal, na svojo obljubo sebi in na vložen trud.

Rekel je da: ‘Saj bi lahko šel po navadno ogledalo, ampak to čemur sem se odrekal jaz, da sem postal kapitan, v tem ni nič navadnega. Edino ogledalo, ki pristoji moji dnevni sobi je ogledalo iz letala. ✈️

💥2 pilota in 1 trenutek ki je za vedno ločil življenje od smrti.

22. marca 1974 je kapitan Tomislav Požaić med rutinskim trenažnim poletom doživel trenutek, ki je za vedno zaznamoval njegovo življenje.

Letel je z letalom J-21 Jastreb v formaciji in med letom se je spremljevalec zaletel vanj.

Kljub hudo poškodovanemu letalu je Tomislav za nekaj dragocenih trenutkov ohranil nadzor. Nad Šentjernejem je sprejel odločitev, ki mu je rešila življenje: katapultiral se je s sedežem
Folland 1B, in skoraj nepoškodovan pristal na trdna tla.

Ta sedež je z njim kot tih opomnik že 51 let.

Ko nas je njegova družina prosila, da temu stolu vdihnemo novo življenje, smo nalogo sprejeli z največjim spoštovanjem.
Z največjo natančnostjo smo sedežu vdahnili novo življenje do zadnje podrobnosti.

Sedaj živi naprej ne samo kot eksponat, ampak kot unikaten, uporaben kos pohištva, prežet s spominom, odločnostjo in pogumom.

Tomislavov nasmeh, ko ga je prvič zagledal,
je bil trenutek, ki nam je povedal vse.
