Neo-Classical (Abstracted)
Western University of Health Sciences, Buriram

This first design direction is developed through a careful structural analysis of the existing building, with the objective of elevating the architectural identity of Western University of Health Sciences, Buriram.

The Neo-Classical (Abstracted) approach does not replicate historical ornamentation.
Instead, it distills the fundamental principles of classical architecture symmetry, proportion, hierarchy, and balance and reinterprets them through a refined contemporary language.

The central glazed axis represents the core of knowledge and medical innovation, symbolizing transparency, progress, and academic clarity.

The brick façade conveys permanence, responsibility, and institutional solidity reflecting the university’s commitment to educating future healthcare professionals.

The arched ground floor introduces human scale and civic presence, bridging academic rigor with compassion an essential value in medical education.

This renovation is not merely an aesthetic upgrade.
It is a strategic redefinition of identity positioning Western University of Health Sciences, Buriram as a modern, credible, and future-oriented medical institution.

Elevated Tropical Living in a Forest Sanctuary

ASCOTT ABOV PATONG PHUKET RESIDENCE is designed as a calm and private residential environment,
distinct from the hotel experience and focused on long-term living quality.

Inspired by the forested landscape of Patong, the architecture is expressed through a refined
Tropical Modern design language, emphasizing vertical elements that echo tree trunks
and function as a secondary skin to filter light, reduce heat, and enhance privacy.

Natural materials, warm tones, and transparent layers create a timeless and understated character,
while the building’s relationship with landscape, light, and ventilation shapes a tranquil living experience.

The residence represents a balanced integration of tropical living, privacy, and architectural clarity
within the ABOV Patong masterplan.
