⚠️CLARIFICATION ABOUT OUR SEDENII PINK ALBO⚠️
Here’s a recent group shot of our Sedenii Pink Albo family all propagated by our own hands over the past 1.5 years (from corms, top cuts, and rhizome bottoms).
Mentioned to post described this photo as the “Shown Mother Plant,” It s not correct. This picture was shared simply to show our current collection and consistent leaf color never to say that this was her mother plant. The true mother of her plant is shown in the third photo.
That true mother plant was cut into two parts:
•The top cut was sold to a customer in the USA in Jan this year. (She kindly tagged us, and you can see on our tag at .shop.)
•The bottom part was sold to a local customer (the ‘second owner’) in March this year, as shown in the third photo.
•The ‘second owner’ brought the plant to sell at the Bangkok Plant Show in May, where it had grown larger and was still showing pink variegation, as seen in the fourth photo.
👉 Regarding the recent post of , we’d like to clarify a few points:
•She did not purchase the plant directly from us. Instead, she purchased it from the ‘second owner’ at the Bangkok Plant Show in May this year. She also shared about receiving it on her IG (5/30).
•Four months later (now), under her care, she mentioned that the leaf had turned more mint, which she also posted publicly.
The mint tone in Alocasia leaves can appear for many reasons, especially the environment of each home. Factors like light, water, fertilizer, airflow, humidity, and temperature all play a role. Even a small imbalance can cause stress and shift the variegation, that’s why Alocasias are always a challenge, and also their beauty.
That said, all of the Sedenii currently under our care continue to display pink variegation.
One care routine does not fit all. Every plant is unique, and attentive observation remains the key.
💔What saddens us most is the implied that we sold an ‘untrue pink.’ Every plant we release has a clear and traceable origin, and we nurture each one with honesty and care.
