The Mulberry or Kradat Saa papers are unique to the Northern region of Thailand and were first introduced back in the day as a way to store Buddha’s words of wisdom.

The locals have then found new and creative ways of using the papers (i.e. make paper fans, lanterns, bags) and integrated the mulberry papers as part of their way of life.

When plastic and foam were introduced, the incentive to use natural and bio-degradable products have since almost come to a complete standstill, and the Mulberry paper making tradition has only recently resurfaced as more and more people have become concerned for the environment and are now seeking for alternative eco-friendly products.

We take pride in our unique Thai paper making traditions! And believe in sustainable products for our future generation!
