This is my Feeling and my Thought in Art and Architecture.
I have no intention to convince anyone.

“No one is the same”.

With my humble spirit and my deepest gratitude to the Past.
I wish that,
I am a Persian Man who come to Siam via Silk Road.

India is my Spiritual Mother.

My journey started late evening on foot from Qom to Isfahan-from Abbasi Great Mosque passed by Tabriz, Herat, Afghanistan, Kabul, Lahore, Srinagar, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Kashmir, Kashgar, Urumqi, Turpan, Xi'an, Kathmandu Valley to the Lanna Kingdom of Siam.

During my traveled,
What strike me most was the mysterious joint between the Hindu Kush and Himalayas.
Where solid rusted steel-like, crisp Geometrical Form of the Hindu Kush fusing into the naturalistic softness of a Light Blue Greenish of the Himalayas.

I love the Purity of Islamic Geometry. It has always been very very pure and beautiful to me.
Such images stay vividly fresh in my memory-has never faded, never changed till today.

Siam, I love, very much, the Lanna Cultural Heritage. Their beauty and loving quality of their simple country way of life-expresses beautifully in their Art and Architecture-deeply touch my heart.

I always wondering about the relationship between Lanna and Sukhothai (girlfriend-boyfriend) whose uncle was the Khmer.

The Khmer taught me to conceive Architecture-as if “it is going to be there forever”.
And when you are conceiving your Architecture-do it as if “today is your last day”.

Today, after a long copying, clinging, attaching to the Past.

I am realizing that “Past is the Enemy of Creativity”.

My sense of beauty has changed from the “Beauty of the Past” to “Moment to Moment Beauty”.

A beauty of “Herenow”. (no Past-no Future)
Where Eastern Spirituality, Cosmic Phenomenal and the Existence involving into the precise and intentional creation of my Art and Architecture.

“Horizon is the Key”

A Tropical Luxury Resort on one of the most dramatic high cliff site at Weligama, the South most tip of Sri Lanka Island.

This magnificent site opens directly with an uninterrupted view and space through the nothingness of the Indian Ocean toward the Antarctica. Our significant move in the design of the Masterplan is to response to such uniqueness and beauty by locating and orienting The Moon Pool at the front most tip of the cliff+with Axis towards the Antarctica. The shape of Moon Pool precisely follows the Moon's Path Across the Sky.

We hope our guest will enjoy Moon Swimming Experience-following a Delightful and Mysterious-Cosmic Horizon.

As the Horizon always follows our eyes-no matter at what level we are. We response to this secret-by carefully setting and oriented our Pavilions so as to invite the Horizon to dance with Architecture.
