Our proposal for an ongoing project in the South of Thailand involves large light wells penetrating the plinth of a hotel complex. The openings form water ponds with planted islets allowing for waiting and meeting areas connected to the elements.

Designing and building this house has been nothing short of surprises. Seeing it as a journey rather than focusing only on the final outcome has been essential to staying grounded through the process. Now, as we approach the final stretch, the real challenge lies in balancing the naturally slow pace of craftsmanship with our expectations for quality.

Beyond aesthetics, this home is also a step toward low-carbon living. By prioritizing locally sourced timber, reducing reliance on high-emission materials, and embracing passive design inspired by traditional Thai architecture elevated structures, natural ventilation, and connected open spaces, we aim to minimize environmental impact while maximizing comfort in a tropical climate.
It’s not just a house, it’s a process of learning, adapting, and building with intention.

“A home that breathes with nature”

Elevated gently among the trees, this tropical pavilion brings together understated luxury and thoughtful, climate-responsive design. Wide overhangs, open façades, and natural ventilation keep the space cool and comfortable letting the breeze and light shape everyday living.Every corner is designed to maximize comfort, daylight, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Beneath the villa, a shaded open-air space extends living beyond walls perfect for quiet retreats, gatherings, and moments of pause. A place where design feels light, living feels easy, and nature is always part of the experience.

"Access to the Urban Oasis”

We’re turning a small site in a central location in Bangkok into an new foods & beverages destination in a leisure garden setting. The existing building will be adapted to accommodate a variety of vendors and a new central outdoor space will be surrounded by a number of new booths.

Inspired by the intricate textile language of the ”Akha Tribe of Northern Thailand“, this project transforms traditional weaving geometry into a contemporary architectural expression.

A sustainable masterplan for a small development consisting of four houses between 2-and 4-bedrooms, with shared amenities. The development is carefully located on a gentle hill slope in the north of the tropical island Koh Phangan. The development encourages the use of natural building materials, passive ventilation and communal living.

“Studioort” turn the Victorian house into a bigger and better living space. The project involved building a loft conversion that created two extra bedrooms, a side-return extension devising an open-plan downstairs layout, and renovating everywhere else.

“Effra House” consists of a full reconfiguration and extension of a Victorian terraced house in Brixton, London. The project was selected as one of UK’s best home conversions by New London Architecture in 2021

Typical victorian terraced houses often have a narrow hallway, which doesn’t allow for sufficient space to hang coats or take off your shoes, let alone to bring in a bike or pram. We addressed this by moving a structural wall and adding storage, seating and a niche for a bike.

The project was featured in the May 2021 issue of the UK’s best-loved Grand Designs magazine.

We've had the opportunity to work on a range of different types of projects lately, incl food&beverage, commercial and office workspaces, where we're dealing with new office worlds and shifts in social patterns.

We're sharing the designs for serviced offices within an existing highrise mixed-use building in Thonglor, Bangkok with you. A highly competitive real estate market requires developers and operators to find the sweet spot between monetising floor space and providing a space that people can identify with and offers opportunities for chance encounters and conversations.
