Bagru Woodblock Printing (India)
Bagru is a traditional hand block printing technique from Rajasthan, India.
Artisans use hand-carved wooden blocks and natural dyes to print patterns on cotton fabric. Each piece is slightly unique because it is printed by hand. Natural Colors
🔴 Red: made from Madder root (Rubia plant) and fixed with alum, creating an earthy red tone.
⚫ Black: made from fermented iron solution (iron filings, jaggery, and water), producing a deep natural black.
