บ้านของ “เม่อ” คือบ้านที่ตั้งใจให้เรียบง่ายและจริงใจต่อวัสดุ ก่อขึ้นจากบล็อกคอนกรีตที่เราหล่อด้วยมือของเราเอง ทีละก้อน ร่วมกับช่าง โดยใช้แม่พิมพ์ง่าย ๆ ก่อนนำมาเรียงประกอบเป็นพื้นที่อยู่อาศัยอย่างตรงไปตรงมา
บ้านถูกออกแบบเป็นบ้าน 1 ชั้นครึ่ง โดยซ่อนพื้นที่ชั้นลอยไว้ภายใน ซึ่งเป็นทั้งห้องพักผ่อนและห้องทำงาน แทรกตัวอยู่ในปริมาตรของบ้านอย่างเรียบเนียน
ภายในส่วนของห้องน้ำ ถูกออกแบบด้วยเส้นสายโค้ง เพื่อเพิ่มมิติของพื้นที่และลดความแข็งของวัสดุ แสงธรรมชาติถูกนำเข้ามาอย่างตั้งใจ เกิดเป็นเงาที่ไล่ต่อเนื่องราว 180 องศา สร้างบรรยากาศที่สงบและเป็นส่วนตัว
ความตั้งใจของบ้านหลังนี้ ไม่ได้อยู่ที่ความซับซ้อนของรูปทรง แต่อยู่ที่การถ่ายทอดความหมายของคำว่า “บ้าน” — ความอบอุ่น ความธรรมดา และความพอดีของการใช้ชีวิต
เม่อเป็นคนที่ใช้ชีวิตเรียบง่าย บ้านหลังนี้จึงถูกวางไว้ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติ เพื่อสะท้อนตัวตนผ่านวัสดุ พื้นที่ และความเรียบง่ายอย่างแท้จริง
“Mor’s House” is conceived as a simple and honest dwelling, built from concrete blocks that we hand-cast ourselves, piece by piece, together with our craftsmen. Using improvised molds, each block is formed and assembled into a straightforward living structure.
The house is designed as a one-and-a-half-storey dwelling, with a mezzanine level concealed within the volume — accommodating both a resting area and a workspace, seamlessly integrated into the space.
The bathroom is shaped by curved walls, introducing spatial depth while softening the rigidity of the material. Natural light is carefully brought in, creating a continuous play of light and shadow across approximately 180 degrees, forming a calm and intimate atmosphere.
The intention of this house is not in complex forms, but in expressing the essence of “home” — warmth, simplicity, and a sense of just enough.
Mor lives a simple life, and the house is placed within nature to reflect this way of living, expressing identity through material, space, and simplicity.
