Aiming a style skin tone for this .
2.5 hours of rough sketching the shadows, midtone and highlights. No blending at all. It is impressive that how much the right placement of tones defines the painting.

Boris Vallejo tarzı bir renk paleti seçtiğim bu Conan figüründe yalnızca 2.5 saatlik hızlı bir ton yerleştirme uyguladım. Henüz hiç renk gecisleriyle uğraşmamis olsam da, tonların doğru yerleştirilmesi sanki bitmiş gibi tatminkar bir sonuç veriyor.

Bu figürü farklı bir gururla paylaşıyorum.

Sevgili ile birebir yaptığımız derste, daha önce boyamış oldugu Blood Rage oyununa ait Fire Giant figürü üzerinde çalıştık. Bir sonraki fotoğrafta göreceğiniz üzere kılıç ve kılıç tutan kol üzerinde alev tonlarını inceledik ve düzeltmeler yaparak kılıcı ve kolu tekrar boyadım.

Akrilik boyaların karakterleri, fırça kullanımı ve renk geçişlerindeki temel teknikleri anlattığım çalışmanın ardından bunları uygulamaya koyması için ona bir Diablo minyatürü verdim ve kendisi evde boyadı.

Sonuç beni açıkçası çok şaşırttı. Sevinç ve gururla karışık duygular içindeyim. Ortalama 3 saat süren beraber çalışmanın böyle bir sonuç vermesi harika bir şey.

Metehan halihazırda bir çizer ve kağıt üzerinde renklendirmelere gayet hakim. Ancak akrilik boyaların doğaları gereği bambaşka malzemeler oluşu ve fırça ile müdahale etme tekniklerini kavramadan, ne kadar kağıtta tecrübeli olursanız olun, bu tecrübeleri direkt minyatür figüre aktarmak pek mümkün olmuyor.

I had to stay away from the hobby for quite a long time but managed to finish this diorama before the year ends. I have a mind to stick around more in the new year!

The vampires have joined the ranks, led by The Great Necromancer Nagash.

Vampires are painted by me and Nagash is painted by another talented painter; Carlos Martinez, .miniatures

They seem to have formed a nice collection for my client in Scotland.
