We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our Director, Colin Basso, whose incredible talent, vision, integrity, and leadership shaped not only our firm, but the built environment and people we are privileged to serve.

Colin approached his life and his work with creativity, precision, joy, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Being a good listener is an often overlooked, yet critical quality of being a great architect, and Colin had it in droves. He always made time for people: his easy willingness to help anyone in need, his dedication to thoughtful design, and his commitment to mentorship inspired colleagues, clients, and collaborators alike.

Far more than losing a valued professional, we have lost a friend and brother whose quiet wisdom and generosity of spirit have kept us steady and strong over the past 20 years. It has been a deep honour for us to have known and worked alongside Colin Basso.

We extend our condolences to his devoted wife Charlene, his loving son Myles, and their extended family. We are grateful for the legacy Colin leaves behind, and for having been blessed enough to be in his orbit.
