雙構
在街屋尺度緊密的城市街廓中,
我們為 DOHO Gelato 提出了兩套不同氣質的空間提案,
回應同一基地條件下截然不同的經營想像。
基地為透天形式,面寬受限,
同時二至四樓規劃為出租住宅。
因此一樓的設計被思考為具備雙入口可能性的結構,
在滿足機能分流的前提下,
讓空間擁有更高的彈性與未來調整的餘裕。
第一套方案以金屬與冷色調為主軸,
將 Gelato 的製作精神轉化為空間語彙
理性、精準、低溫。
外觀與室內呈現出近乎實驗室般的純粹感,
讓產品本身成為視覺與體驗的核心。
第二套方案則轉向橘黃等暖色系,
搭配塊根植物與較為有機的材質表情。
空間語氣從理性轉為感性,
在街道之中建立一種親近、可停留的氛圍。
兩套設計並非優劣之分,
而是同一空間在不同品牌敘事下的兩種可能。
DOHO Gelato 的設計過程,成為一場在理性與感性之間來回推敲的空間實驗。
Dual Constructs
Within the compact frontage of a traditional Taiwan townhouse,
two distinct spatial proposals were developed for DOHO Gelato,
each responding to a different vision of brand experience within the same site.
The building is a vertical townhouse with limited width,
with the second to fourth floors designated as rental residences.
As a result, the ground floor was conceived with a dual-entry structure,
allowing for functional separation while maintaining flexibility for future operational adjustments.
The first proposal is defined by metal finishes and cooler tones,
translating the essence of gelato making into spatial language
rational, precise, and restrained.
Both exterior and interior adopt a minimal, almost laboratory-like clarity,
placing focus squarely on the product itself.
The second proposal shifts toward warmer yellows and earth-toned hues,
complemented by caudex plants and more organic material expressions.
Here, the space becomes softer and more emotive,
creating a welcoming presence within the urban streetscape
and encouraging moments of pause and connection.
Rather than presenting a single solution,
the two designs explore parallel possibilities.
DOHO Gelato becomes an exercise in spatial interpretation —
where rationality and emotion are tested as equal narratives
within the same architectural frame.
