繪畫的材料是壓克力顏料和仿麻畫布；顏料的色彩相當豐富，一罐罐在架上排開像一道繽紛的彩虹。壓克力顏料的特性，厚塗可有油畫的堆疊效果，加水調勻，可像水彩一樣渲染，使用彈性大也較好掌握。即便是所有人都畫同一個主題，進行到後來也會在過程中產生自己的想法，所以無論有沒有基礎都能獨立完成一幅有自我風格的作品，是個讓人很有成就感的繪畫體驗。
