《沉箱傳奇》｜老櫃子的返家風浪記

這個櫃子很不幸被放在貨櫃船最底層，返家途中，多次被海浪衝擊，幾場風浪後，船底淹水了。

它默默撐著，撐過潮濕、發霉、結構鬆動的日子，像是被時間悄悄咬了一口。

我們接手後，從除霉、烘乾到重建加固，一步步讓它重新站穩。

它雖然沒沉，但確實歷經一場與海搏鬥的劫難。

現在，它準備好重新被看見。

The Sunken Chest｜A Cabinet’s Journey Home

This cabinet was placed at the bottom of a cargo ship.
On its way home, wave after wave struck the vessel.
After several storms, water flooded the lower deck.

It held on—through damp, mold, and loose joints—
as if time had quietly taken a bite.

When it arrived, we took over:
cleaning, drying, reinforcing, and rebuilding—
step by step, helping it stand again.

It didn’t sink,
but it did survive a battle with the sea.

Now, it’s ready to be seen again.

2023 is a very special year to us.
Our new workshop was opened last month and it is located at Xinhai Road, Taipei. Our new shop will be opened at Songjiang Road, Taipei later this year.
Find a suitable place; doing all the renovations; all those logistics from Hong Kong to Taipei…… I have to say thank you to all those people that contributed in the process and especially to my team. Special thanks to CSP, you’ve made all these come true.

Small rectangle table 小形方桌

The previous restorer mistakenly put raw tung oil on top, so the surface become crackle like and very sticky. We cleaned the surface and the painting underneath eventually can be clearly visible.

桐油可保護木器，但先前的復修師錯誤把生桐油擦上，導致桌面好像有龜裂的效果，同時生桐油一直都有那種黏乎乎的感覺。我們把全張桌子清潔過後，重新做法式拋光，桌面的繪畫及旁邊的花改終於再現人前。
