🌏💙 Digital Nomads Are Coming to Taitung — And We’re Ready!
We are excited to see Taitung selected as Taiwan’s pilot destination for digital nomads, welcoming remote workers and travelers from around the world.
As part of the historic Taitung Sugar Factory , Kuai Indigo Dyeing Studio is honored to contribute to Taitung’s English-friendly environment. In addition to our indigo dyeing workshops, we offer guided tours of the sugar factory’s cultural heritage, allowing international visitors to discover Taitung through its crafts, history, and local stories.
Recently, we also partnered with the Taitung English Resource Team (TERT), providing English-guided cultural tours that introduce visitors to the history of Taiwan’s sugar industry. Through these experiences, we are proud to showcase Taitung’s ongoing efforts to build an international and welcoming community.
From cultural walking tours to hands-on indigo dyeing experiences, from local heritage to global connections, we look forward to welcoming friends from around the world and sharing the unique beauty and spirit of Taitung.

很開心看到臺東成為臺灣數位遊牧示範場域，迎接來自世界各地的數位工作者與國際旅人。
身為臺東糖廠園區的一份子，我們很榮幸能成為全英語接待環境中的一個重要環節。除了藍染手作體驗外，我們也結合臺東糖廠糖業文化導覽，讓來自世界各地的朋友透過工藝、歷史與在地故事，認識不一樣的臺東。
近期我們更與臺東縣國際志工隊（TERT）合作，以英語帶領遊客走讀糖廠、介紹糖業文化，將臺東多年來推動英語人才培訓的成果，轉化為真實的國際交流體驗。
從文化走讀到藍染體驗，從在地故事到國際交流，我們期待用最具臺東特色的方式，迎接每一位遠道而來的朋友，讓世界看見臺東的美好與魅力。
