其實，
一開始我對於雙手裡太陽與月亮的黃色釉色，並不太滿意。
因為底色偏淺，
黃色很難形成明顯的對比，
但同時，又不太想讓它變得太強烈。
手心裡的太陽與月亮，
在平常的光線下很安靜，
安靜到讓我一度懷疑——
是不是應該換一種更明顯的顏色。
直到這次客人回來告訴我，
點上燭光之後，一切都不一樣了。
光落進去的那一刻，
原本低調的黃色慢慢浮現，
變得溫柔而清晰。
那一瞬間其實很驚喜，
也讓我重新理解這個作品。
原來這個顏色不是不夠，
只是它在等光。

有些作品，
不是在完成的那一刻才結束，
而是在被使用的時候，才真正長出它的樣子。

To be honest,
I wasn’t fully satisfied with the yellow glaze
on the sun and moon in the palms at first.
The base tone is light,
so the yellow didn’t create a strong contrast—
and at the same time,
I didn’t really want it to be too bold.
In everyday lighting,
the sun and moon felt very quiet—
so quiet that I even wondered
if I should change the color.
Until a customer came back and told me:
once the candle is lit, everything changes.
The moment the light falls into the piece,
the subtle yellow slowly appears,
becoming soft yet clear.
It honestly surprised me,
and helped me see the piece differently.
It’s not that the color was lacking—
it was simply waiting for the light.

Some works are not completed when they are made,
but when they are being used.
