莎拉・盧卡斯的《女孩》在幽默與不安、身體或物件間，形成特殊的張力，顛覆傳統概念對於女性身體的各種投射。將填充的物件與身體特徵組合，以超現實主義的怪誕手法再次解構，扭曲了既定形象。莎拉・盧卡斯是1980年代崛起的「青年英國藝術家」成員之一，作品涵蓋雕塑、裝置、拼貼與攝影等多樣手法，時常跳脫邏輯，結合日常物件，藉此挑戰我們的原有理解。

“Girl” by Sarah Lucas exudes a sense of tension between humor and disquiet, body and object. It subverts conventional notions of the female body. By combining stuffed tights, shoes and bodily features, Lucas adopts a grotesque Surrealist approach to further deconstruct and contort the figure. Sarah Lucas was a member of the Young British Artists, who rose to prominence in the 1980s. Her art encompasses such approaches as sculpture, installation, collage and photography. She often combines everyday objects in unexpected ways, challenging our understanding.
