Almost 10 years ago, I started making candles.

And somehow, all these years later, I can still walk into a store and see Fragrant Farmhouse sitting on the shelves. 🤎

If I'm being real, I've been a little quiet over here.

Life has been full. My attention has been pulled in a hundred different directions, and somewhere along the way I stopped giving this little business the time and energy it deserves.

But I'm not ready to be done.

I'm not ready to give up on the thing I built from scratch. The scents I've perfected. The customers who have come back year after year. The little candle business that has been through so many different seasons of my life.

So maybe this is me finding my way back to it.

Showing up again. Sharing more. Making things feel fun again instead of like another thing on my never-ending to-do list.

And maybe refreshing this shelf today was the reminder I needed:

Fragrant Farmhouse is still here. And so am I. 🤎

Just popping in to remind you... I'm still here. 🤍

Life has been full lately, and if you've noticed things have been a little quieter around here, you're not imagining it.

Business has been hard. Life has been busy. And sometimes something has to give.

Right now my shelves are looking a little emptier than usual, but that's about to change. I'm getting back into the Candle Barn, July subscription boxes are heading out soon, and before we know it, I'll be pouring all the cozy fall scents that make this season my favorite.

As Fragrant Farmhouse gets closer to celebrating 10 years, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for sticking around through every season. Thank you for every order, every share, every kind word, and every time you've chosen to support this little dream of mine.

This business exists because of people like you, and I'll never take that for granted.

Here's to filling these shelves back up... one candle at a time. 🕯️🤍

As I poured this month's 1776 candle, I couldn't help but think about what this year represents.

250 years.

Our country isn't perfect. It never has been. But I wouldn't want to call anywhere else home.

I'm proud to be an American.
I'm grateful for the freedoms we often take for granted.
I'm thankful for every man and woman who has served and sacrificed so that my family can enjoy those freedoms today.

I think about how someday I'll tell my future grandchildren that I was here to celebrate America's 250th birthday. What an incredible milestone to witness.

But celebrating our country isn't just about waving a flag once a year.

It's about the choices we make every day.

Supporting the small businesses that pour their hearts into what they create.
Choosing American-made whenever we can.
Keeping our dollars in companies that invest back into our communities and share the values we believe in.

Small businesses don't survive because of big advertising budgets.
They survive because people choose to shop, share, and tell their friends.

So thank you.
