I am retired from the University of Alabama System. I work 3 years in Tuscaloosa and 22 years at Birmingham.

I became interested in floral arrangements at a young age. My mother and grandmother made cemetery flowers in the 50s and 60s from crêpe paper.  I all ways had the job of making the carnations. While I was working at University of Alabama I took several classes in floral and bow making. When Covid hit and we where locked down I began making bows and arrangements again. The love of this craft has lead me to giving arrangements and wreaths as gifts. My family and friends encouraged me to start showing my work.
