Out with the old, in with the good looking. When you have a shower that size why not go curbless.
She hated the 2x2’s because the installer wiped out too much grout and left sharp edges. Plus the cheap grout was hard to clean and falling out in areas.
Tore out the old tiles, dropped in some drains and laid some down. Sealed up edges with kirdi-fix. Patched the walls up and set some new hex tiles down 💥new shower! Finished up with some permacolor select grout that has a built in sealer. Enjoy that new shower and happy 307 Day!
