Just wrapped up this custom deck featuring TimberTech Vintage Weathered Teak with a double picture-frame mahogany border and a built-in waterproof drainage system tied into a concealed gutter.

This project had plenty of angles and detailed work around the downspouts, making it a fun challenge — and those are the builds we enjoy the most.

8 foot bookshelves built, painted, and installed in the bedroom. Just need to place the shelves in on the left. The two for the living room are stained a brown cherry color, and need to dry for another 5 days at least before the lacquer is applied.

Some flooring, and trim last week. Ready for paint. This little pond house is turning out nice.

Got to build this cool little deck for this pool out in prosperity, SC on lake Murray. I’ll be pouring a concrete pad that’ll go in front of the steps, and to the left for an outdoor shower at a later date. Then no sediment or water will gather around that first step, and cause any rot. It was beautiful, and peaceful.

Replaced some old rotting wood siding with hardie siding last week. Going to look good after that fresh coat of paint.

Brick repointing, and inlayed a Flamingo paver today. Brick repointing consists in removing a portion of the deteriorated mortar and redoing the joints with new mortar. These people in this neighborhood are obsessed with flamingos. Lol

Replaced these rotting fascia boards, and rim joist around this deck and gazebo with hardie trim boards. Then replaced the wood on the front columns with pvc. They will be replacing the deck with trex in the next 5 years.
