🌸🧺 This Saturday's Market is Shaping Up to Be a Good One! 🧺🌸

Join us this Saturday, June 20th, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Aitkin Tractor Supply parking lot for a morning filled with local food, handmade goods, fresh baked treats, plants, flowers, candles, pet products, woodworking, leather goods, jewelry, and so much more!

With over 20 vendors attending this week, there's truly something for everyone. Whether you're stocking up on local food, searching for a unique gift, or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning, we'd love to see you at the market.

✨ Kids PoP Program Returns This Week!
Thanks to the generous support of Riverwood Healthcare Center, the Kids Power of Produce Program is back! Children and their parents can stop by the Welcome Booth to receive tokens to spend with participating vendors. Quantities are limited each week to help the program last throughout the entire season, so we encourage families to arrive early.

✨ Senior PoP Program
Our Senior Power of Produce Program is also underway! This sponsor-funded program provides eligible seniors with vouchers to use on fresh produce and participating food items at the market. A limited number of vouchers are available each week. Stop by the Welcome Booth for details and eligibility information.

🧠 Food As Medicine Series — Session 2
Brain Health Part 1: Stroke, Brain Health & Cancer Prevention
⏰ 10 AM – 11 AM

This week's session will focus on:
• Antioxidant-rich foods
• B vitamins for cognitive function

Attendees will enjoy a cooking demonstration, recipe tasting, and practical tips for supporting brain health and overall wellness. The first 25 participants will also receive a take-home recipe kit.

Bring your reusable shopping bags for all your market finds and a cooler for any meats, produce, baked goods, or other temperature-sensitive purchases.

🧠🌿 Food As Medicine Session 2 is happening this Saturday at the Aitkin Farmer's Market! 🧠🌿

Join us from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for Brain Health Part 1: Stroke, Brain Health & Cancer Prevention, which is an interactive cooking demonstration designed to help you learn simple ways to support your health through food.

During This Session, We'll Explore:
🥗 Antioxidant-Rich Foods
🧠 B Vitamins for Cognitive Function

Participants will also have the opportunity to watch a live cooking demonstration, sample the featured recipe, and learn practical tips for supporting brain health and overall wellness.

🥕 Bounty Bag Season Is Almost Here, And We're So Excited To Get Started! 🧅

Our first Bounty Bag pickup is Saturday, June 27th, and there's still time to reserve yours! Bounty Bags are a simple way to enjoy fresh, seasonal produce from our local farmers without having to worry about rushing to get to the market right away in the morning. Our Hub Manager Allison will have your bag packed and ready for pickup at the market. 🥬

☕✨ Meet Our New Vendor - Catch 22 Mobile Cafe! ✨☕

Some businesses start with a business plan, Catch 22 started with two people who loved working together. 💖

Cela and Montana first met while bartending during college, where they discovered a shared passion for creating drinks, meeting new people, and hearing their stories. After moving to Baxter, they knew they wanted to build something of their own, something that combined everything they loved: caffeine, community, and human connection. ☕

What makes their story even more special? Catch 22's mobile cafe trailer was built from the ground up by Montana, with help from family and friends. Countless hours of hard work went into creating a business that felt true to who they are. 🛠

The name "Catch 22" represents that moment many of us can relate to, when staying where you are feels hard, but taking the leap feels hard too. For Cela and Montana, it meant betting on themselves and pursuing a dream. ✨

When asked what they enjoy most about being small-business owners, They shared, "It fills my cup to do something we're passionate about and share that with others"
