When I started making candles, I had to pay attention to both how they burned, and how they smelled.
I have asthma and allergies, so the ingredients matter to me too.
That’s the reason I chose coconut-apricot wax. It’s a specialty vegan, plant-based wax that supports the cleaner candle experience I needed.
I chose sustainably sourced round wood wicks because they help the wax burn evenly, and the crackling sound is also part of the candle burning experience. That gentle crackle adds another layer to the room without competing with music, conversation or quiet.
I chose etched glass because I wanted the candle to look like a piece of decor and add a little something special when lit.
The candlelight shines through the etching and creates a soft ambient glow.
Then there’s the scent.
Rhythm & Blues is a scented soundtrack to good music, good food and good people.
Soft lily of the valley and citrus open Rhythm & Blues. Basil and sage add herbal depth, while cedarwood and a touch of musk bring in a smooth, warm finish.
