When we found this vintage sofa in New Jersey, it looked like it could have easily ended up on the curb. Luckily, we found it and recognized its good bones.

The customer picked a fun, striped fabric from Modern Fabrics, and our workshop team worked their magic with it. Now this sofa is on its way to its new home in Oberlin, OH!

When we found this Milo Baughman case sofa in Pittsburgh, it had been reupholstered in fun safari-themed fabric, but many years of use left it looking frumpy. Our workshop team just finished refinishing and reupholstering it for a customer in Berea, OH. We love how the turquoise velvet pops next to the rosewood tone of the wood!

Arden Riddle was a custom MCM furniture designer from the Akron area, our hometown. This dining set, like most of his pieces, was handmade in his studio for the individual family that ordered it. It is solid walnut (not veneered) and features an unusual, almost-square table. The entire set has been restored in our workshop. The chairs have been reupholstered with high density foam and perfectly subtle fabric that combines threads of olive, gray, coral, and cream.

Due to being one-of-a-kind, Riddle's pieces are quite rare and becoming more scarce as the years pass. This set is now available in our showroom and on sweetmodern.com. $8,795

Just finished: This Adrian Pearsall cloud chaise had great bones when we found it in Virginia, but its cushion was dirty and deflated. Now with all new straps and foam, it has received a makeover in tones of blue and oxblood. As always, the awesome fabrics are from our friends at Modern Fabrics. This piece is now on its way to its new home in Fairlawn, OH!

Nothing sounds like a vinyl record on a vintage console stereo, and no one restores them like Sweet Modern! Every circuit, tube, and mechanical component is tested. Capacitors, rubber drive wheels, needles & cartridges are replaced. Turntables are re-greased. Wood cabinets are restored.

Truly, no stone goes unturned. That's why we can deliver them with a warranty while other sellers don't. Remember, a 60 year old stereo never "just needs a needle."

Here's a fun, springtime revamp for a pair of Milo Baughman lounge chairs. We are nuts about the colorful striped velvet that this customer picked – and lining it up almost made our upholsterer go crazy! Our workshop team also built a second ottoman to the match the original (you always have the option of adding an ottoman to any chair we sell).

This set is headed to its new home in Wisconsin!
