This isn't wood or wicker. It's woven bronze and copper wire, fused together by a continuous 20-hour electrical chemical bath.

American metalsmith Dennis Nahabetian completely reimagines contemporary sculpture with his "Vessels".

He pieces together flat panels of wire mesh using ultra-fine copper threads. Instead of traditional welding, he uses a technique called electroforming—submerging the piece in a chemical solution while running a low-voltage electrical current through it.

The result? A solid copper skin that molecularly binds the joints into an impossible, fluid structure.The stunning red, violet, and gold hues? Pure chemistry.
