I finally got my costume together (inspired by .and.co )
Hat is basically freehand, I looked up a basic amigurumi cone and went from there!

The skirt is made somewhat freehand with the pattern by in the by and border #180 from the "Every Which Way Crochet Borders" book by
Baby crow pattern is by
Nail decals are from the .beauty sets "Retrograde" and "Sugar & Spice".
Next year, I hope I'll have my own handknit socks to wear!!!

I spent some time this weekend going through my yarn, updating my projects, and reprioritizing my goals. I finally finished the million ends to weave in on this and unburied my Yarn Witch Costume WIPs. The hat is a little floppy, so I'll be adding flowers to the brim as a way to give it some shape. The skirt is going well, too! I have a small project to knock out for my fiance, but then it will be HALLOWEEN CROCHET TIME! 🎃🧶

Wouldn't ya know it--Estes Park has a too!! After a few short snowy walks through and lunch at , we dipped into and scored this beautiful "Bear Lake" custom dyed skein in the by .my.loop
There were other colorways based on different locations in the park and a beautiful line by another dyer based on each of the National Parks--perfect for the tourist yarn shopper like me. We are already talking about coming back to in the future (and not during the "winter" 🥶) so I'm looking forward to adding more of these to my collection 💜🏔️🧶

This adorable shop was one of the biggest we've visited and had an incredible diverse stock--from standard knitting and crochet needs to shibori, felting, and weaving materials.
