Meet the Celebration Station!

This cute little drawer organizer is in my Haven & Hive booth right now, and I have a vision for it: all those little things that make a celebration feel special, tucked into one happy place.

Birthday candles, matches, confetti, glitter, ribbon, tiny gift tags, and little craft supplies. Everything ready for the next birthday, a surprise for a friend, or a regular Tuesday that deserves a cupcake and a candle.

I love taking something practical and imagining a fun new purpose for it. Sixteen little drawers just waiting to help you celebrate!

Find it at Haven & Hive inside Millie's Vintage Resale in Albany, right outside the vault.

What would you put in your Celebration Station?

As the temperatures drop and the sun goes down earlier, I love making my evenings a little cozier. A little snack, a pretty dish, something special just because.

Tonight, I pulled out a silver serving tray and one of my favorite lidded dishes. I’ve had this dish forever, and for some reason, I always reach for it in the fall. I just love the colors.

The lid is both pretty and practical around here. Pepper likes to inspect my snacks, which usually starts with a sniff and occasionally turns into a lick or two. This way, I get to enjoy my snacks without quite so much help.

I also played around with some herbs from the yard and made myself a little mocktail to celebrate Friday eve. Nothing elaborate, just a few favorite things making an ordinary evening feel a little more special.

What’s your favorite little treat on a cozy evening?

I never get tired of watching people turn their thrifted finds into something completely different! I love and appreciate the creativity of someone who can look at an ordinary item and see a possibility the rest of us would walk right past.

So many clever ideas, so much talent. Thank you to the people who share what they create and let us watch it all come together. 🩷

You make it look easy, but I know a lot of imagination goes into it!

Anyone else find themselves watching “just one more” of these videos? 🥰

We let the chickens out! 🐓

And apparently, they invited the whole flock to Haven & Hive!

Yesterday’s booth refresh was a little bit country, a little bit French farmhouse, and a whole lot of chicken charm!

From charming ceramic hens and tiny feathered friends to vintage cookbooks, woven baskets, and farmhouse finds, the coop is officially full!

Whether you’re a chicken collector, a lover of cozy kitchens, or just someone who appreciates a little personality in their home, there’s something waiting for you.

Come see what all the clucking is about!

Find Haven & Hive at Millie's Vintage Resale in Albany, right outside The Vault.

Tell us, are you a chicken-in-the-kitchen kind of person, or do you prefer your chickens in the backyard?

Does fall have to be orange? Asking for the dahlia.

I’m choosing flowers for a cozy corner, and these two are making a very different case for autumn.

1. 🌸 The cream and purple dahlia on the left: soft, romantic, a little unexpected.
2. 🌻 The golden sunflower on the right: warm, cheerful, classic fall.

Which feels more like fall to you? Leave a 1 or 2 in the comments. Help me settle this before I find room for both.
