Are you waiting for something that says “repurpose me”? Is there an empty spot in one of your collections? We have to touch every single item as we unpack (oof)…your white whale might be here waiting to go home with you.

Winter is coming and with it dry air in our homes. This massive kettle can help (and moist air feels warmer). Fill the kettle with water, then add your favorite aromatics such as orange peel, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then turn down to a simmer. Set a timer to check every 45 minutes so it doesn’t boil dry. Enjoy the humidity with a pleasant scent.

We’re looking for a couple strong people Friday (8/21) afternoon or evening to move some heavy furniture and display cases. Volunteers would be wonderful, but we can pay 2 people $20 an hour for two hours.

We have secured warehouse space so we can commit to unpacking and return to some in person selling! We had received extensions to remove all of our belongings from Pearl St, but have run out of extensions. Ryan is out of the area working road construction and Patti’s back injury restricts how much she can lift. We need help moving the displays and furniture into the warehouse before Sunday morning (Aug 9). Message us here or call/text 507.402.7043

Everything has to be out before Monday morning and we still don’t have enough space to move it all to. There’s display cases, furniture, and bookcases for sale. Patti will be there until 7; if it’s not sealed in a box, it’s still for sale. Please help us keep so much usable stuff from ending up in the landfill.

It’s hotter inside than it is outside (fixing the AC is another thing the landlord has refused to do). It’s going to be worse this coming week. Being able to rent additional storage space, and to hire help to pack and move would reduce the threat to Patti’s health. We put everything into this move and we just want to prevent merchandise and history and displays from ending up in the landfill.
