Here are some pretty flowers to brighten up your week!

I opened the flower press this morning to look at the progress of some special flowers.

These are extra special because they came from the flowers my kids gave me for Mother’s Day. ❤️ I cut and pressed them so I could keep a little piece of that sweet day.

That’s what I love about preserving flowers, you can save blooms from special moments like these, or pick a few favorites from a beautiful field and make a memory of your own.

🌻💜 Crafting for a Cause!

This special board was created and donated for the silent auction for ROCK THE RIVER. This is a charity fun run on the Ohio River, to bennifit families with cancer.

The idea actually came from my daughter Brooklyn! She suggested “Funday Sunday” and using the sun from Tangled ☀️—and from there, the design came together with lots of bright, colorful pressed flowers.

I love how cheerful this one turned out, but even more, I love knowing it will be auctioned off to help support such a great cause.

I hope whoever takes it home loves it as much as I loved creating it!

Back to school this week, for my son, he started his freshman year of high-school.

But I found a little time to slow down and add some colorful pressed flowers to these whitewashed serving trays. 🌸

I’m loving the mix of purple, pink, and orange—such a pretty color combination! 💜💗🧡

Sometimes a little creative time is exactly what you need during a busy week. ✨

There’s just something special about taking real flowers and turning them into a piece that can be enjoyed long after the blooms are gone.

I’ve been having so much fun playing with these bright neon colors! 💜💙💚🩷🧡

New resin trays and bowls with matching lids are coming together, filled with gorgeous color, shimmer, and pressed flowers.

I spent a beautiful evening at Homegrown on Haubner Hill picking flowers, and I think sunflowers have officially become my favorite. 🌻 I never realized there were so many gorgeous varieties, in all different sizes and colors!

I'll always have a special place in my heart for a classic pink rose, though.

They already made it into the flower press.

At the beginning of summer, a family said goodbye to someone they loved dearly. In the midst of their heartbreak, they entrusted me with the flowers from the funeral.

Over the past few weeks, those flowers have been carefully preserved and transformed into three memorial trays, one for each family member.

Each tray is unique, personalized with special touches that tell a story of love, remembrance, and a life that will never be forgotten.

There is something incredibly meaningful about giving flowers a second life. While they may fade with time, the memories they represent never do.

My hope is that these keepsakes bring a small measure of comfort and serve as a beautiful reminder that love remains with us, even after goodbye.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of preserving such precious memories. It is an honor . ❤️🌸
