One of the enemy’s greatest lies is convincing us that we’ve missed God’s best—that we’ve wasted too much time, made too many mistakes, or lost too much to ever recover.
But Joel 2 reminds us of a different kind of God.
He isn’t only the God who forgives. He’s the God who restores.
He restores years that seemed lost.
He restores opportunities we thought were gone forever.
He restores hearts that have been broken, dreams that have been buried, and our faith in Him that has grown weary.
And His restoration isn’t merely about bringing you back to where you started. God restores with abundance. He doesn’t just replace what was lost—He provides more than enough. What He gives carries His peace, His purpose, and His presence.
So if you’re grieving lost time, don’t let regret have the final word. Your past is not beyond God’s redemption. The same God who restores wasted years is also the God who knows exactly how to redeem them.
Your delay doesn’t surprise Him.
Your mistakes don’t disqualify you.
Your losses are not too great for His grace.
God never wastes what is surrendered to Him. Trust the One who restores what was lost and provides more than enough for what lies ahead.
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God.” — Joel 2:25–26
