🤍 Today, our store will be closed as we honor and celebrate the life of our beautiful Grandma Carol.
To many who knew her, she was Carol King. To us, she was Grandma. ❤️
When I first started this business in 2023, Grandma would come to my markets to help me. She would drive 45 minutes to meet me, and then we’d head to the show together. She kept coming with me for as long as she could, and those are memories I will forever hold close to my heart.
Grandma had a way about her that was just her. She had so much charm, charisma, and a gift for making people feel welcome. Anyone who walked up to our tent or table was sure to get a smile and a conversation. She could talk to just about anyone, and people loved her for it.
She always called me her “Sweet Kay.” Honestly, she was definitely the sweeter one of us!
Our shows and festivals just haven’t been the same without her. But there’s a little piece of her that still comes with me everywhere I go: my Mickey Mouse business card holder. It was a little thing, but now it means so much more. I bring it to every show, and in a way, it feels like she’s still right there beside me.
She never got the chance to see our storefront in person, but I know she’s watching from heaven, smiling down on us and feeling so proud. 🤍🕊️
I miss our conversations, our time together, and having her by my side. I would give anything for one more market day with her.
Today, we celebrate a life well lived and a woman who left such a beautiful mark on the people around her. Grandma, thank you for showing up for me, believing in me, and being part of this journey from the very beginning. I will cherish those memories forever.
We love you, Grandma Carol. You are so deeply missed, and you will always have a place with us wherever this little business takes us.
Today, we celebrate you. 🤍🕊️
