Some flooring decisions are downright TERRIFYING. 👻

And we’ve seen some scary ones over the years.

The finished product is beautiful, but there’s something special about watching it all come together.

The measurements. The stitching. The attention to every little detail.

Hardwood on the main level. LVP in the basement.

If you want a floor that won’t feel dated in a few years, start here. 👆

Jed, Lauren and Phillip each picked the flooring style they consider timeless.

Different answers, but there’s definitely a theme. 👀

Which would you put in your home?

If budget wasn’t part of the decision, what flooring would a flooring expert choose?

For ARE Flooring and Design Owner Jed Mills, it’s a wide-plank, oil-finished engineered hardwood.

Beautiful, durable, and built to age well. It’s the kind of floor you choose when you’re thinking about the next few decades, not just the next few years.

What’s your top pick? Let us know in the comments.
