Some of the best moments at home happen just before the day ends. A place to sit outside, feel the evening air, and watch the sun go down.

Hand-hewn beams and traditional chinking were used on the exterior to give the home the feeling of a timeless mountain cabin, grounded in materials that feel connected to the landscape and built for gathering outdoors in every season.

“Deus benatus nosra casa.” A quiet blessing over the home, engraved into a piece already carrying generations of history.

This sink began as an ancient baby bathtub discovered by the clients in Italy years before this house was ever designed. It lived in their previous Mediterranean-style California home before making its way here to the mountains as one of the pieces they could not imagine leaving behind.

Designing around meaningful objects like this is part of what makes a home feel deeply personal. The challenge was finding a way to honor its history while allowing it to feel fully at home within a contemporary mountain retreat. The result is a space layered not just with materials, but with memory.

Livable luxury starts in the spaces used every single day. This mudroom is where a day outside ends: hiking boots kicked off after a trail run, damp towels dropped after the lake, skis and layers shed after a day on the mountain. Everything has a place.

But a hardworking space does not have to look utilitarian. The same intention we bring to a primary suite or a great room comes with us into the mudroom. Function and beauty are not a tradeoff.

The home is called House of Glass for a reason. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame direct views of the Park City ski resort on nearly every side, so every design decision in this room was made to support the landscape.

The curved sofa softens the scale of the space and naturally draws people together, while the cannonball fireplace introduces texture and depth without interrupting the clean architectural lines. Even the shades were carefully concealed within the angled ceiling so nothing would break the connection to the view.

And overhead, clear cedar tongue and groove, because in a mountain home, materiality matters just as much above you as it does around you.

Wellness spaces should feel just as considered as the rest of the home. Tucked within this modern Scottish castle-inspired home, the steam room sits alongside a dry sauna, designed as a pair and intentionally placed steps away from a shower. The sequencing matters: you sweat, you rinse, you reset.

Layered stone, moody tones, and immersive tilework create a space that feels grounding and restorative.

Bunk rooms in Park City are rarely for children. More often, they are designed for the adults who come for ski weekends: groups of friends, a crew of college roommates, the kind of gathering that ends with late nights and early lifts.

This one was designed with exactly that in mind. A full-size mattress on the lower bunk, stairs instead of a ladder, and integrated cabinet lighting throughout.
