Restock of my favorite stationary! I absolutely love PLEASURE CURATOR. Her correspondence pieces are classy, but a little cheeky as well.
Note cards, gift tags, long note pads, calling cards and “parking tickets” are always a treat to express your true feelings while maintaining a level of sophistication.😉
The holidays will be here before you know it and her pieces are perfect for stocking stuffers.
Shop will be opening a smidge late today at noon. Someone needs a ride to his follow up appointment from surgery last week.🙂

It’s the start of the weekend shop hours at the Alton Brick and Mortar.
I am out of the shop today wrapping up a few more loose ends this week, so Natalie will be your hostess.
I will be popping by briefly later dropping the flowers for the flower bar.

It’s finally done! I’m so pleased with the outcome come at my space The Hill Antique Market .
I had the vision when I got the space but time to get it done the way I wanted was elusive.
I wanted this space to feel like my brick and mortar in Alton.
The Alton shop is known for its large outdoor floral displays, its Persnickety Blue wall color( anchors away by Sherman Williams) and that feeling of eclectic, achievable sophistication with just a splash of whimsy.
Something that feels welcoming and comfortable.
As Raymond and I were finished and just getting ready to leave a lady walked through the space and asked if it was mine. I told her yes. She said “I absolutely love this, it feels like home!”

Home. That word is the epitome of Persnickety. I built Persnickety to feel like home. Inspired by my grandmother’s home, inspired by the eclectic mix of homes, history, landscape and people in my hometown of Alton, inspired to give permission to you to make your home be a unique reflection of you.
That lady didn’t know that in that one sentence she nailed exactly what I wanted Persnickety to feel like.
Home.🫶🏻

Just a little tease of what I’ve been working on at The Hill Antique Market

Major overhaul has started at my space at The Hill Antique Market ! It’s long overdue and I’m so excited to finally see it coming together with the help of my friend Raymond this week.
Large pieces, new displays and those fantastic pendants I picked up in Evansville should be set just in time for W**e down Wednesdays this evening from 5-8pm.
Hoping to have a few new smaller decor pieces in by this evening as well. I’ll be add a lot more over the next few days so this by this weekend my booth should be poppin’.
Most of you know a lot of my pieces don’t last long so if I were you I’d plan to come out tonight to check the new so far and then make plans to come back this weekend to see the final set.
You never know when that special piece you’ve been looking for will show up.😉🩷🦋🗝️🇮🇹
