What an incredible evening at Party On Broadway! Our Animal Paint & Sip Night brought together wildlife lovers, artists, and community supporters for a fun-filled fundraiser benefiting TreeHouse Wildlife Center.

Guests chose from four adorable wildlife-inspired paintings—Fox, Squirrel, Opossum, and Raptor—and filled the room with creativity, laughter, and plenty of artistic talent. It was wonderful to see everyone put their own unique spin on each design while learning about and supporting a cause that makes a difference in our community.

Because of your participation, we were able to raise funds to support TreeHouse Wildlife Center’s mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife while promoting environmental education. Since 1979, TreeHouse has provided care for injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife throughout our region and relies heavily on community support to continue its important work. 

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, painted, donated, shared the event, and helped make the evening a success. Special thanks to TreeHouse Wildlife Center for the amazing work they do every day for our wildlife neighbors. 🦉🦅🦊

Exciting news - I’m holding some customer appreciation nights. I’m looking to celebrate my customers with special pricing as I prepare to head in a different direction with the business. You can choose any unfinished item in the shop for $30. The first one is next Tuesday. If you preregister through Venmo -hopkins-1 by Monday night you will pay $25. When you arrive Tuesday, I will show you the wood room and you will pick out your projects. Kids are welcome to attend. Kid projects choices are $10.

We are hiring for part-time youth activities/social media. Some duties include, but are not limited to, planning youth activities, using Canva to create signs/graphics for activities to post on social media, updating the marquee sign, and maintaining the website.

Requirements include: high school diploma (or equivalent) required; ability to operate library technology systems, including a PC; public service experience desired; must be willing to work flexible hours; this position averages 30 hours a week and includes Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund enrollment.
