The design called for a ten foot stretch of windows above the sink. The result is the most peaceful and beautiful spot in the kitchen, even if it includes dishwashing.

(the tall marble backsplash and curved side splashes of this vanity were inspired by an antique Victorian, and I couldn’t wait to incorporate those exaggerated proportions in this new powder room. It feels like a subtle nod to the washstands of the past, with a slightly modern spin. Wallpaper is from )

Scale matters. 🤍 When space planning in new construction, we pay very close attention to room size and the transition from space to space. The overall plan should tell a story (and avoid the open concept at all costs). This look from our Lower Gwynedd butler’s pantry to dining room reflects that. 🤍🤍

the finished laundry room at our Devon Fieldstone project is almost too pretty for dirty laundry. 🤍 The custom apron-front soapstone sink steals the show… but the real hero is the cabinetry, keeping every single daily essential close at hand (but hidden away). Shout out to our friends for working with us to make sure this wall mounted faucet/sink/cabinet combination was installed so perfectly.

a well designed mudroom might be the biggest luxury in the house. Kitchens and bathrooms are beautiful but if we can successfully store backpacks, boots, sports gear, and several dozen shoes all in one smallish hallway, we’ve won. 🤍

With the size of the island at our Marlton project, we were able to sneak in this stack of drawers with the cabinetry design (which is so pretty). Sometimes, I prefer drawer storage over cabinet doors, they’re easier to access and the cabinetry feels like furniture. 🤍
